1927-29  Studied at "Bezalel" School of Art in                    Jerusalem, earned a living by                                executing hammered copper and                          silver frames for  Prof. Boris Schatz's                  oil paintings at Meir Gur Arieh and                      Zeev Raban's studio

1930-34  Studied at the Ecole Superieure des                     Arts Decoratifs in Paris and exhibited                 at the Salon d`Autumn  and took part                 in the Salon des Artistes Francais

1935       Returned to Israel and taught at                           "Hinuch" high school

1935       Became a member of the Painters and                 Sculptors Association and took part in                 all its exhibitions. Casted the death                     mask of  H. N. Bialik

1936       Sterenshuss and the painter Aharon                     Avni  founded "The Studio for                               Painting and  Sculpture of the                               Cultural Committee in Tel Aviv"                            under the aegis of the                                            Histadrut, there, he established the                     Sculpture Department and was its                       director till 1951

1939-43  Taught at various schools in Kfar                         Saba, Raanana, Herzeliya and Tel                         Aviv.  Participated in group                                   exhibitions of The Painters and                             Sculptors Association in Israel            

1947       Study tour in Italy and Southern                           France organized by the "Studio"                         guided by Aharon Avni

1948       Was one of the founders of "New                         Horizons" group and took part in its                     exhibitions

1948-50 Worked in Occupational Therapy with                 wounded warriors of Independance                     war in Nes Ziona
1949       Married his student, the artist Ruth                     Zarfati

1953-85 Established and taught at the                              Sculpture department of Avni                                Institute of  Painting and Sculpture,                    Tel Aviv

1954      Advanced studies in Italy and Spain

1956      Advanced studies in Paris and London                 Continued to exhibit in various                            exhibitions and received Dizengoff                      award  on behalf of Tel Aviv                                  municipality
1958      His daughter Hagit was born

1960      Exhibited at the Musee d'Art Moderne                  in Paris and  erected  the sculpture                      "Fledglings Fountain" at Weizmann                      Institute, Rehovot

1962      Participated at the "Yegar Sahaduta                    International Symposium of sculptors                in Israel" at Mitzpe Ramon and                            exhibited "Lot's wife"

1963      Worked on a wall at a guest house in                  Kibbutz Shefayim and a monument in                  memory of the fallen at Mosenson                        school in Magdiel

1963-84 Taught sculpting at WIZO Zarfat high                school in Tel-Aviv
1964      The family moved to its permanent                      residence in Tel Aviv, designed                            together with  architect Moti Ben-                        Horin

1965-74 Exhibited regularly at Malia Gallery in                 Tel-Aviv

1966       Executed the front of the Histadrut's                   Tax Office building in Tel-Aviv and a                   monument in memory of the fallen in                 Kibbutz Nitzanim

1968       Executed a concrete wall at a guest                     house in the Carmel Forest and a                         stained glass wall and sink at a                             synagogue in Nazareth Illit

1983       Placed "Moses" statue in Arison park                   in Tel-Aviv, by the Tel-Aviv                                   foundation of Literature and Art

1984-87  Founded the Sculpting deparment at                   Haifa University and served as a                           senior lecturer.

1986       Retired from teaching at Avni                               Institute

1986       Tal, his granddaughter was born
1992       Died of an illness
1995       Tom, his grandson was born

1996       "New Horizons" exhibition in Tel-Aviv                 Museum shows his works
2001        A comprehensive exhibition about                       Sterenshuss's work was shown in Tel                 Aviv Museum and a book about his                       work  was published.
2002       The book "Exhalations of Eros" was                     published - love poems accompanied                   by drawings and paintings of                               Sterenshuss,  edited by Ruth Zarfati
